Entitled “Green Parrot Revisited”, this mix is in fact a tribute to the legendary “Green Parrot Disco“, which was located at the former Hyatt Regency Hotel (now called Regency Hotel) in Taipa, Macau. This mix consists mostly of dance tracks that were played in the late 1980s when I worked in Green Parrot as a DJ.

Putting this mix together was actually quite challenging as there are indeed too many great dance tracks from the 1980’s which makes it really hard to fit in everything into one single mix. Another interesting feature of this mix is that I used many of my own edited versions of the tracks in order to make the overall mix nice and tight. You will notice that I have not included some great tunes from artists like Madonna, Janet Jackson, Culture Club or Pet Shop Boys. Don’t worry as I am saving them for the next volume!
